Call to Action
LAUSD faces a $ 460 million budget cut. Many Teachers at WHA face the prospect of widespread layoffs.
It is time for the Governor and the Board of Education to take a positive position and say we will not cripple education in our State.
We must save our teachers if our kids are going to have a future. With “Baby boomers” retiring there will be a huge need for teachers. Where will they come from if all the new teachers are forced out of the teaching profession? Please contact these legislators and urge them to vote NO on the budget and request that education be a priority for this State.
