There will be a Keynote speaker Dr. Maulana Karenga talking about "Kwanzaa and the Well-Being of the World-Living and Uplifting the Seven Principles".

There will also be a special performance by African Soul International.

The next Parent Workshop Series is Universal Design for Learning for Parents is on December 8th from 11-12. You will gain insight on the evolution of education, learn about Universal Design for learning, and find out how schools are using the Universal Design. Please check out the flier for the zoom link.

Virtual Conference for nurturing Healthy Societies during COVID and beyond. Please join them on Saturday, December 5th from 9-2:30. See attached flier for more details.

Come join Local District Northwest's Title I Conference on December 5, 2020 @ 9am. There will be two sessions. One you will learn about Language Arts and how to support your child's learning at home. The second you will learn about College awareness and Financial Aid and the Parent Portal and Schoology. If interested, please click on the flier to register. Come join the Superintendent, Joseph Nacorda, along with PACE, Operations, Instruction, and District/LDNW staff to find out updates and provide input on new and continuing initiatives, and discuss the impact at the local schools. They will discuss current issues and exchange information.

The next Parent Workshop is coming up on November 18 @ 11 am in English and November 19 @ 11 am in Spanish. This work shop will be about English Learners and Long Term English Learners (LTELs). You will learn about tools for success. Find out how our school can help. Learn about new legislation for reclassifying LTELs and how to help your child make progress towards reclassification.
